When we first stumbled upon your website regarding "Seascape Chalet' it seemed almost too good to be true. We had wanted to visit PEI for several years and your place looked perfect to explore PEI from. When we arrived, everything was as it had been pictured and described online. The Chalet was equipped with everything we could possibly need. You proved to be a most thoughtful and gracious host and an excellent source of information pertaining to PEI, providing us with invaluable suggestions and recommendations.

Seascape Chalet was just perfect! The kitchen and contained everything one might need. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom and deck were excellent. We ended each day sitting on the deck looking out at the view and drinking wine. We watched several bald eagles in the trees near the picturesque bay. The location was incredible.

You were a great help in making our trip to PEI memorable, going way beyond to make our visit to PEI comfortable and memorable. Thanks for making Seascape Chalet our home for a week!

Thank you so very much for the use of your beautiful chalet with the wondrous views of the bay! The scenery has even enticed our 13 year old daughter (the one who likes to sleep until noon) to rise at 5am to view the sunrise over the waters (this of her own volition!)

Your very comfortable vacation home has been so thoughtfully supplied with everything a family could need or want, from laundry supplies to beach towels, from condiments to badminton rackets!

We really appreciated the lovely gift basket of local wine, cheese and preserves. An introductory taste of PEI.

Our entire family loved it here, with the gorgeous scenery, "refreshing" beaches, the delicious food and the rousing Ceilidhs! And to think we were able to experience it all, while enjoying all the comforts of a (temporary) home.

The National Park pass was a big plus, and we used it almost every day.

You have thought of everything to make vacationing here at Seascape both convenient and comfortable.

We have had two weeks of beautiful weather and have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We have been coming to the island every year for several years so have seen most of the attractions. However, we have enjoyed our reunion with Des’ many relatives here on the island. We also went to the new casino in Moncton which was fun and spent a day in Charlottetown shopping. Also made our annual trip to the New Glasgow Lobster Supper. The chalet has been so comfortable and a real “home away from home.” We hope to come back next year.

The week and the chalet were exactly as we hoped. In the middle of a three week visit to the Atlantic provinces, we've had a very relaxed and comfortable time in PEI. This was a great centralized location for exploring all parts of the Island (Charlottetown, East Point, North Cape, the national park and provincial beaches). We live in a fantastic country, and each time I explore a new part of it I wonder what drives so many to seek other countries without getting to know our own. Each to their own. But PEI is beautiful, and regardless of the day's weather, there is always something to see and do.

Thank you for your welcome treats. We enjoyed them all and made sure we added some resupply of cheese, wine and preserves to our travel basket. All your recommendations of sites to visit and your discussions about the province added to our stay.

This was our first visit to PEI. The island is spectacular and Seascape Chalet was the perfect home away from home. I had moments of doubt leading up to the trip, having booked the place sight unseen, months before, over the internet, 1400 km away. But from the minute we walked through the door, we knew that we had found the perfect place. Arriving tired, late at night and with three kids in tow, we instantly felt welcome.

The cottage could not be better equipped. You have thought of every tiny detail. Fantastic location, beautiful setting, squeaky clean, attractive and spacious. After fun days playing all over the island, we returned "home" to enjoy your games, movies, kayaks and quiet reading spots at the chalet. The Seascape Chalet enhanced an already wonderful holiday.

We arrived on our 41st wedding anniversary after a long journey from Bar Harbor Maine after flying from the UK, but on getting here it was worth all the effort. Our first morning, we saw a young red fox on the lawn. He was gorgeous. The views and the peace was exactly what we needed. My dream was to visit where L.M. Montgomery was inspired, and now the children have flown the nest I have achieved my dream visit! The scenery is incredible and the people so friendly. One night whilst sitting on the balcony we heard a highland piper! Incredible!

The cottage was perfect! It had everything we needed and more! PEI is wonderful at this time of year (last week of October) with all the autumn colors! The kids enjoyed gathering leaves and shells on our walks! We'll definitely be back!

A wonderful 'east coast' experience!! The deep-sea cod fishing, biking, touring and walking the beautiful beaches were all highlights for us.

We had a wonderful time in PEI. We did a lot of walking on paths and beaches, a little shopping, and a lot of relaxing in this beautiful accommodation.

The whole family appreciates the care and attention which Philip and Dawn have put into the decoration and maintenance of this lovely bayside home. All of the hospitable touches -- everything from crackers, cheese, and wine to the extra household items just in case we had forgotten something were very thoughtful touches.

How quickly the time flies by. It seems we just arrived and suddenly it's time to depart. We can say that we had a most enjoyable week. With the co-operation of the weather, we were able to enjoy the beautiful morning sunrises and the equally stunning sunsets from our chalet's great vantage point. With all the comforts of home, the chalet provided us with everything we needed to provide for the requirements of the entire family. In particular, its location afforded us an opportunity to enjoy a variety of activities, from golf to ceilidhs and of course shopping and even the beach (though we knew it would be a little cold in September!).

A good time was had by all. We checked out a number of great beaches. We also did some deep sea fishing and between the two of us caught 12 fish! We also enjoyed the Eddie May mystery theatre.

We also spent enough time just chillin', hopefully making us more motivated to get back to work upon our return....

One last item of note -- It always amazes me just how green the island is. I guess in PEI, the grass is NOT greener on the other side! :)

As soon as we crossed the bridge onto PEI, we knew it was going to be a very special vacation. The cottage was perfect! We especially enjoyed the beach and the ceilidh in Stanley Bridge. We kayaked on the Hope River, swam and found dozens of clams!

We drove on the heritage road near Trout River and the children fished. The deep sea fishing excursion was also highly successful, with a cod and mackerel dinner to finish! We loved beachcombing and collecting many "treasures" as well as pottery from the Village Pottery Store.

The cottage was so well equipped, and we appreciated all the time and thought put into the environment.

All of us loved the island, and one week is simply not long enough.

It was a rainy day when we arrived in PEI, but we fell in love immediately with this lovely cottage. You can imagine how we were delighted the next day when we walked into the bright living room with full morning sun.

PEI had been my mother's most desired place to visit since she had read the book "Anne of Green Gables" when she was a little girl. We enjoyed all activities that relate to Anne, as well as PEI's famous seafood.

Our boys also enjoyed their stay. They ran out to the swings whenever they had a chance. We also really appreciated the National Park pass. After we found the white sand beach at Cavendish West, we visited there every day.

We had a perfect vacation in the most beautiful place and at our dream cottage!! Thank you very much!

What a tremendous experience we all had for our island getaway. Just seeing the smiles on my 6 year old's face was enough for us to realize that it was a complete vacation. The past 11 days have been a great family vacation, and staying at your property had a lot to do with our tremendous experience. From the moment we first stepped into the chalet, we were "breathless," as the decor and scenery were unbelievable. Our two daughters enjoyed immensely the swings and toys during our stay as they both entertained them on a constant basis.

We have just had the most glorious two weeks on the Island – sunshine every day except when we arrived and when we departed!! What a lovely chalet! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here on PEI and the chalet was a significant reason our vacation was perfect. We explored PEI to our hearts content even though some of the major tourist attractions and restaurants were closed (in the second week of October). The fall foliage here in PEI was breathtaking and we were here at the perfect time.

Recommendations:

• New Glasgow Lobster Supper – AWESOME!
• Cavendish Beach and Dunes – SPECTACULAR (favorite part of our trip)
• Any of the numerous pottery shops in the area.
• Just let your car lead you around. You never know what beautiful view and scenery awaits you.

Our family drove about 1000 miles from Virginia to get to PEI. This was our second trip. What a lovely place, and we were so fortunate to have beautiful weather. The cool breezes at night are quite a change from northern Virginia. We went deep sea fishing with Andy at Stanley Bridge and caught enough fish for 3-4 dinners. We went to Avonlea Village, which our “too cool” 13 year old loved. Finally, we went to Greenwich to see the dunes – go, by all means, go to Greenwich. The descriptions are just not enough! Take the dunes trail – it is extraordinary! We also went kayaking with Ryan at Outdoor Exhibitions in North Rustico – highly recommended all.

PEI is so relaxing compared to life in Washington DC. Enjoy and relax!

What a nice time we had here in PEI with our two children (ages 2 ½ and 3 months). The Island is a perfect spot for young families like ours!

Having the bedrooms and living space all on one level was very useful, as was having a washing machine and dryer. We had brought our own provisions, so we were surprised to find everything we needed (and more) here.

Our 2 ½ year old loved the swingset, and little things like plastic plates and cups helped us be at ease. The children’s books, Dora puzzle and items in the storage room were also a big hit (don’t children always find other people’s toys more fun?)

A little chilly for the ocean this week, but beautiful and comfortable for sleeping. Thanks for having us.

This is our first trip to PEI and hopefully not our last. From the moment my sister and I walked into the chalet we felt “at home.” The weather in May was not the best - cool and wet - but it did not dampen our spirits. We arrived to a very gusty, rainy PEI. It soon cleared up and we had great weather for the rest of the week. We all enjoyed the beautiful beaches and abundance of seafood. Seascape Chalet provided a restful and fun vacation. Spacious and well stocked, the chalet offers views of ocean and green fields. We would certainly recommend the cottage to our friends and hope to return ourselves. Our weather was sunny every day. The seafood is fabulous and nowhere near the cost in the United States and other Canadian destinations. Theatre and music are everywhere. Good beaches can be found with little exploration.

We had an incredible PEI experience! The cottage was amazing and so thoughtfully stocked. All of the little things we didn’t think about were here. We used the kayaks and all the outdoor toys and games.

On the 17th, Jenn and Scott were married here. We couldn’t have picked a better spot! The view is amazing. It was a trip of a lifetime.

We were comfortably able to entertain family and friends who came by for the wedding. The Park Pass was much appreciated, as we used it most days. We also liked being able to explore the area by walking. Every walk was something new!

We had a great week – not as much sunshine this week as we had hoped, but we still kept very busy! We really enjoyed our “home” away from home – especially all the thoughtful touches in this very clean and fully stocked cottage. The view is beautiful and we found the location excellent when exploring the entire Island!

We enjoyed the fresh seafood and strawberries, Ceilidh at Stanley Bridge, the bands at Carr’s, Brackley Beach, golf, Summerside Lobster Carnival and exploring! The Lobster Supper at St. Ann’s is excellent!

This was a terrific experience for our family. The location is great – we found it close to everything we wanted to enjoy. Perfectly relaxing week away from work. PEI was everything we expected and more, and the cottage had all the comforts of home. Thanks for such a relaxing vacation in this week of beautiful PEI weather! This "Seascape Chalet" provided everything my extended family of grandchildren could want or need! The swingset with monkey bars and slide has kept the grandkids busy while we were preparing for our day trips or preparing suppers daily.

The chalet was equipped with everything and made our week simple and fun! Coming from our world of such busy lives, this week of bike rides, beachcombing, walks, playgrounds, waterslide park, and family truly shows us what a vacation is all about.
